Finally. 87 is going to be raised from the curve off 124 at High Island all the way to Rollover. Txdot spending 14 million on something that should have been done yrs ago. Fill in rollover and crystal beach might actually have a beach.

Supposed to start sometime next year. Didnt have a timeline stated. LJA Engineering out of Houston did the study. Dont know if they're doing the work.

That's good to hear!

Now if Texas really want's beaches we've got to get the Mississippi River flowing where it want's to. That aint gonna happen anytime soon
