Any recommendation for best place to buy fresh unshucked oyster in Port A or Rockport?

We have a condo for the next week and would like to buy about 4 dozen oysters and pair them appropriate fish or whatever and have a fest on our balcony?

Suggestions appreciated!

Hard to find this time of year unshucked. Try Groomers seafood on North Beach. Or call Alby's or Casterline in Rockport, they can send you in the right direction.

Texas oyster season doesn't open until
November 1. If you find any oysters now they will be from Louisiana or one of the private reefs in Galveston Bay. At any rate, late summer oysters are typically translucent and "milky."
