Did it wind up opening? This will definetly be on my itenerary when I make my Texas return in May. They don't close til June right?

I can confirm that Sonny's is open and business is booming (based on the number of cars parked around there).

Had lunch there today. Jr. said they will not be closing in June this year since they've been closed so long after the hurricane. He said they had 4' of water in the place. And I'm sure he's still doing gumbo (on Fridays only).
