I'm trying to get a hold of my insurance company in Beaumont but I only get a busy signal when I try calling and it appears their website is down as well.

The only area with power is a small section of downtown. I think Orange and lumberton also have a few areas lit up. So yeah its still pretty dark there.

The area that has power in Beaumont is the surrounding streets around the Hospital (off of North) and 7th street.

Beaumont is in bad shape. Most of us won't have ower for a few weeks.

We got our power back a couple of hours ago according to a neighbor. We live near the intersection of Regina and Savannah Trace, not too far from Delaware. We are headed back home from Dallas in the morning to deal with the hole in the roof.

Call DOT before you go and stay off of the major roads. Try to go in 287 to back roads. We had 2 family members get turned away by road blocks trying to get in yesterday. They are saying that only personnel with hologram ID tags are being let in until this weekend. We are going to use my wifes ID tag on Thursday. Sewage has not been running right. They are also telling people that stayed to boil all water because a bunch of salt water leaked into the water supply.

my dad drove from orange to st e's today & he said that he couldnt see power on during his drive to the hospital.

most of orange is still w/out power, except for the hospital & the neighborhood across the street from it, thats all i know about.

Who is your insurance company? I work as an adjuster, and if you post the name of the company I'll get you in touch with the catastrophe claims division.
