Really wanted to go but wasn't able to get out of College Station in time.

Hopefully this just wan't a one game rivalry thing and they continue this on through the season.

Had to happen eventually. LaMarque does have a new coach though. He better get it together or he won't be there long.

I always hated playing LaMarque in District playoffs. Although it was funny to see the culture shock -- a bunch of rich, white kids from Harker Heights versus LaMarque.

I'm not gonna argue with you there. Ball has the potential to be so much better but it's not. Too many kids would rather not play and act like thugs instead. When I was there, it would always piss me off that LaMarque, which is half the size of Ball, would have twice as many players in its program. LaMarque got its stuff together in the early 90s and has kept it strong. I'm sure they will get it together again.

Hey, I gotta get my licks in while I can.

It's a shame Ball doesn't play Texas City this year. It would be a much better game than Ball-LM.
