anyone listen to KTUX 99 back in the late 80s?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
the station was out of Shreveport; it's now 99X.

Who was on the morning show back then??? Was it Bobby Cook and Ken Sheppard?

yeah, that "They're coming to take me away ha ha" was pretty cool. There was a rumer that when they first launched the station, they played just that saying all day long. I didn't hear it personally, but sounds pretty cool if they did. It was the only rock station I got, so I listened to it alot. I still tune in when I'm back at my parents.

Edit:
oops, forgot about 98 rocks. Well, ammend that above to say it was my favorite rock station.
