Just wondering...
what are the local tv stations like in East Texas?
Haven't watched in more than 10 years.

Channel 3- KTBS and Channel 12- KSLA are a lot better so we watch those instead of 6.

I used to at my parent's house, but now there is a CBS, NBC, FOX, and ABC out of Longview/Tyler.

Ktal lost alot of viewers in Texarkana with their parent company, Nexstar, demanded Cable One pay them 25 cents/ per subscriber. Cable One pulled KTAL from their line up in January. Don't know if they have been put back on.
Now, Nexstar is demanding the same from Alegiance Communications.

Nexstar may not be making any friends, but they definitely increased the production value/professionalism at chennel 6 when they bought it. Not that it's award winning now, but it was pretty sad before.

I'd say channels 3 and 12 are better. Three gets bonus points for their good looking weather girl.
