Pirate what took you way out there? where you living?

Places you have to eat:
Paloma Blanca -pricey but good. Loved their green Chk enchiladas and craft margaritas
Taqueria Datapoint - legit place that Is close to authentic. Best gorditas I ever had.

Our go to was a terrible joint called chachos. Place looks like a dump but they have cheap strong drinks. Frozen 1800 are good as well as the frozen jack and coke. Their food isn't bad my fav are the quesadilla, burritos double sloppy or the taco norteño. Again this place is loud but we would go with a group of friends from grad school and drink it up

It's REALLY weird but they dress like it, act like it, etc. If they're not hipsters they're pretty impressive posers.

And there are a butt load of them in Tyler these days. I have no idea what the draw is but they're here.

This is my second time to live here myself. First time was only about 8 months and I really hated my living situation and my job so I moved back home. After almost 3 years back, it was just time to get out on my own again. This is just where a job brought me. So far, its been wonderful! I'm happy to be back.

I'm out in the Stone Oak area but work at I10 near Huebner. I really like where I live, even if the drive takes a little longer than I want.

PS, I LOVE, LOVE CHACHOS! ...well, mainly I love their margaritas

Ya I will def miss their margaritas. We lived right by it and would have to walk home after a few too many of those.

Yes, I'm a girl. And yes, my older brother graduated in 2000 and played basketball. He was district MVP his senior year.

Is there a town in Texas with the kind of overly inflated opinion of itself that Tyler and its surrounding towns have? Just because you're somewhat progressive compared to the rest of east Texas doesn't make it not a sh*t box.
