There's a little hole in the wall joint about half way between the towns on the north side of 31 (no not Country Tavern.....it's well west of that). I'm not even sure of the name but I'm a fan of hole in the wall places. Anyone tried that one? Is it never busy because it's crap? Is it new?

I think it's called Hickory Hill BBQ. Been by there a thousand times but never could quite tell if it was open or not.
Just passed it again. It's open Thurs-Sun apparently.

Been open since 2010. Hours are Fri-Sun, 11 a.m. until the meat runs out. Found about 10 reviews, 9 of them said it was really good.

I used to live out by Pat's - drove by there quite a few times but never seemed open when I did. I regret not making an effort to get some grub there.

He was trying to sell for a while. When we went on Tues & Wed there was a sign on the door that just said "closed today". I think he has gone a little nutty...

Yeah me too. There was also a C21 sign which I had not seen before.. It's a shame too - that was the best food in town. It' was always packed during lunch!
