Friend of mine in the financial services industry has an opening in Tyler he needs to fill for an office/admin type position. The employer is in his mid 60's and is easing towards retirement so he's not working at breakneck speed, but his only employee (had been with him for around 10 years) has had to resign to begin taking care of her mother who has declining health issues.
The work is office, administrative, handling client issues, service requests, etc. Some calendar management... Basic things of that nature. He's not all tha computer savy so he needs someone that knows their way around in that area....not super technical minded of course, but not an idiot either. Not sure what it pays (I know it's well above minimum), but would probably be a great position for a mom who is wanting to go back to work in a low stress/low demand type capacity. The employer voiced to me that he thought someone from that stage in life would probably be a good fit, since he's not a strict "8-5" kind of guy he doesn't expect the same from the employee and is flexible to a point with someone that has "kid needs" and things like that.
Prior experience would be nice but is not required.
