My wife and I just moved here from college station for my job in pond and lake management. We are having trouble finding jobs for her that are not RN or CDL drivers. Does anybody know of companies hiring within the area?

She has worked in event planing and doctors office but is trying to find a career.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

She is Aggie grad of 08 in psychology. She worked for doc office in cstat med for a while doing insurance and scheduling.

I will have her look into the bank and o&g. What kind of positions in the dentist office?

As far as East Texas goes, El Charro is pretty darn good. That may not be saying much compared to all the Jalapeno Trees around, but oh well. Besides, the main reason i go is for that special sauce they bring out with the chips and salsa.

Yeah anytime you get into a mexican/tex mex discussion it's going to be polarizing. I like El Charro, my wife thinks it's overrated. My best friend swears its the best ever (not my stance) his wife could care less.

It's at least as good as most chain places....better than most in my opinion. Not as good as most hole in the wall joints that I consider my "favs".

The rule about El Charro is generally this:

80% of people who grew up in Tyler think it is great. 80% of people who moved to Tyler later in life think it is overrated.

Pizza King in Longview is the same way.

I worked at el charro for a very long time in my previous life. You have to know what to get there. Not everything is tasty that's for sure.
