Ever hear of West Texas Marfa Lights ?

Well, Big Thicket - East Texas can top that !!!

Hardin County's FM 787 road (Saratoga to Bragg) has revealed some fairly good photographic evidence of a mystery light.

None other than National Geographic has done an investigation (with photos).

Type in your search engine: "The Ghost Road" by Bob Bowman.

Bop cogitates, that at certain times and temperatures, swamp gaseous substances creates the reflective illusion.

Also information under - Bragg Road of Texas.

Been there many times..the railroad across the road (line runs from Somerville to Silsbee) was my assigned territory while I was with the BNSF..Folks kept stealing the "Bragg" station sign until I moved it further up the track where it wasn't quite as accessible.

Would anyone know what year and what issue of National Geographic once featured (with photos) the E.Tx mystery light Bragg Road ?

FOUND IT - National Geographic - October 1974, pp 524-528. (with time-lapse color photo)

Wonder, have there been any recent sightings ?
