Went to Marshall tonight to check out the festivities and this was the best it has ever been.

Lots of people, great light show on the courthouse, good vendor food, and most of the shops were open.

Glad to hear Marshall is back to doing this right. I am from there, and for a while it was a PITA. Then the town went cheap, downtown was not a real attraction point for businesses. Seems a few more restaurants/bars have opened up and the town is putting money back into this project.

I also heard they are scrapping either the Stagecoach Days Festival or the Fire Ant Festival...
