When I was a kid, we used to visit Caldwell Zoo quite a bit. I know that it charges admission now, but is it still pretty nice for a small zoo? I'm thinking of getting my kids out of the house and taking a walk down memory lane.

I think it is. Last time I was there was probably 5 years ago. It used to be a requreiment for my mom every Mother's Day.

did you make it? we have season passes. its pretty good, the kids love it. i think they have a pair of black bears now.

It's actually VERY good. For a town the size of Tyler, I was blown away when we visited for the first time earlier this year after moving here 2 years ago. I definately wasn't expecting Ft. Worth or San Diego but I was thinking it would be pretty pathetic/bad.

I was WRONG! It's very respectible.
