How was your weekend in the big town of Tyler?

i drove into town friday evening and met some of my possible future co-workers at where's rufus. woke up saturday and checked out my possible future office campus. ate lunch and then drove out to the cascades. i really can't believe some of the houses, condos, and apartments that are out there. i was really shocked. we checked out the "mansions at the cascades" and there were a ton of good looking girls at the pool and in the gym.....plus there is a rudy's close.

i am really up in the air right now on relocating from houston. tyler is nice, but i really can't get a feel for the area. everyone i talked to had vastly different things to say. we will see....

we also knew some of the people playing in the texas state open. last years winner is a friend of ours....that was pretty cool.

It will be a big change from Houston. You will not have to carry a gun and have Low Jack put in your car here.

i got there late and parked towards the put-put. there's no lights on that side of the parking lot. i didn't have anything in there to take. i just had a broken rear window.

I'll post that on youtube soon. It was hilarious.

i'm thinking it probably wasn't a break in. my interview wasn't until 1pm. my tahoe was parked there all morning. they were mowing the property that day and it could have been a rock or something that hit the window. i got the window repaired last week and was told it didn't look like typical break in damage. that made me feel better. not to mention nothing was taken including the $300 radar detector on the dash.
