It's been 2 years since I visited Austin and got to re-try a pepperoni roll after 15 years of waiting before that.

I wish we would get a Freebird's here too, but I'm in Lubbock frequently enough that it won't matter. Lubbock is also currently building a Raising Cane's across campus from Tech on University...not exactly Layne's, but it'll do for me...

I thought I heard on the radio that they opened yesterday Sunday 6/10/2007.

Opening confirmed. Rolls for lunch today - no global beer as work expected me to return!

Had pizza rolls (2fer on Tuesday), large beef and jalapeno and an ice cooold draft miller lite. Just one for anyone wanting to report me for endangering my kids. Kids were bummed out at the orange walls, tt beer sign and A&M/tu ying yang sign. They wanted to see more Aggie stuff decorating the place. However, the everything was good.

My kids noticed and complained about exactly the same things!!!

fuzzyfan and BQ89AG: I thought it was just Marsha and I. Wow! It SUCKED! I came home and wrote nasty email to the address shown on their site, go a 'Failed to send' reply.

We have waited a long time and were totally excited to have them here in Midland. Kid at counter sneered when Marsha said we were Aggies. Great way to start a supper.

It was really a crushing blow to have a B/CS icon that makes a BIG deal of its Aggie heritage on its web site do this. The tt thing for this area is just TOO much. I was hoping for a venue that would allow an escape for the onslaught of the tards and their shallowness. And the PC'ness of orange walls, the Sip Beer Sign w/ Longhorn Sports Network is beyond me.

Well, we waited a LONG time for them. We went once and I guess if we do give them anymore money it will be in B/CS. I am going to print the email I worte and fax it to the number on the web. We just do not have to put up with anymore of being a second class citizens cuz we are Aggies.
