It's a great food town, if you like Mexican food. It's not a bad golf town either.

For those that haven't been in a year it two, you will be very impressed to go downtown. They're renovating like crazy there. It's nice to go and walk around. They're even bringing back street cars down there ( may be up and running now)

There are some cool things downtown. Try to go when the Chihuahuas (minor league baseball) are in town. Definitely have a drink(s) under the Tiffany dome at the Hotel Camino Real bar.

Franklin mountains are also a good hike. i ran the Scenic Dr road when i was there last year and it was one of the more invigorating things i've ever done. mainly because it was 20 degrees and had just snowed. and dodging cars with no shoulder.
