Agreed, just relocated from Houston in June, the weather here has been insane. I do appreciate the lack of humidity though...

The dry heat is, of course, typical along with about 2-3 weeks of 100*F.
But that is typically countered with 2+ snow events a year.
The afternoon thunderstorms are typical.
I have been here since 1993 and that hailstorm was something to behold.
The added amount of rain seems to be more related to El Nino I guess in the last 2 years. Our lakes have water!
My family still finds it hard to believe I survived "chronic" Bronchitis, football and track, with the Katy heat & humidity. BTW, the dry basically "cured" my bronchitis.
