Work, workout, and sleep consume all my time anyways. Some ideas would be appreciated before I lower my standards and pursue skanks on a single nightly basis only.

But seriously, odds are against you in Midland. If you plan on spending your future in Midland, it's worth looking around. If you don't plan on staying here, no sense in trying to marry a Midland girl.

Get involved in YPM and YPE to meet people.

Acquiring currency and having a good time at work are the two things that have kept me in pretty high spirits, just wouldn't mind a FWB at a minimum but I'm coming to realize I might as well as be a unic! You could try cruising by the High Schools on a daily basis.

I was a Female brought here by a male, then I dumped him and I remain in Midland.-4 yrs later. trust me the dating is not great on this side of the fence. Go out and don't be afraid to talk to people.

I met lots of people in YPM & other organizations around town. Summer isn't great here bc everyone leaves...

Now that I am older i am looking for good people to meet and hang out with...not some random guy to buy me drinks...I have a job and can do that. Just want to be around respectable and fun people.

I haven't spent a full weekend in Midland since early March for this very reason. No real advice except go to Dallas, Austin, or Houston and meet women. I'm at about 18 months out here and don't know of too many success stories for guys out here.

I'm pretty much at that Hero's gym on a daily basis and the scenery can be pretty impressive at times.

I actually had a girl in Houston for a couple of months, while work sent me their for a couple training periods it was working but not so much after that. Long distance is no fun.

HAHA! Consider it just poking at you all in good fun. All kidding aside dating here isn't easy but what I am learning is that it is your perspective that matters. One of my life theories is that you are free to ***** about a problem if you are willing to do something about it...otherwise keep it to yourself. You all voiced concerns and I have a solution- I am busy most of the weekend but I will post something next week and we can just show up & hang out. One thing that I have found to keep myself SANE here is surrounding myself with fun people AND ALWAYS BEING WILLING TO LOOK FOR THINGS TO DO. I hope Midland is just a stop in the road for me but while I am here I will make the best of it

It seems like there are a lot of us that would have a good time at a meet and greet. I'm 23 and probably account for the youngest. When is everyone the most free? (Pretty much booked for the next 2 weeks but I'll gladly make myself avaliable to hang out for a night anytime)
