Have a relative working there temporally (perhaps thru May-June), and wants to use his RV. He's actually working in the field, midway between Crane and Rankin, so something on a ranch would work. It needn't be in town, or an actual RV park. Tia.

I know I have seen a few "roadside" RV parks on I20 between Midland and Big Spring. No scenery just hook ups. Not sure about the area you are looking for.

Availability in the local RV park is very limited, and damned expensive ($450/mo) which almost defeats the purpose. Hoping to find an arrangement more reasonable, and perhaps even mutually beneficial. Frills and perks are not a requirement. Just security and basics of power and water. Hoping the network will turn up a good situation.

BG, there isn't much out there and the patch has taken up everything. Hell folks are living in Angelo and commuting to MAF, etc....

ohboy.

Be careful.

There are lots of little "RV Parks" cropping up that would be a great situation...except that a lot of those have completely unregulated water & sewer systems and you could be drinking and bathing in really bad water.

BG - $450 is cheap compared to rent. Let him get a little of that $1,200 a month for something not much bigger than his trailer. If he is working for someone, he should be getting rent assistance or per diem. Employers are aware of the housing conditions. Tell him not to be cheap and rent a space. There are spaces behind the Stripes in McCamey, that were $300 a month. A county commissioner owned them, when we had a trailer there.
