We live in Andrews and this weekend I would like to take the kids down to Midland/Odessa to look at Christmas lights. Any suggestions?

TIA

My wife and I took our son to look at lights a couple of weeks ago. We only drove through a few neighborhoods, but the Grassland subdivision, which is west of the loop between Andrews Hwy (191) and Wadley seemed to have the highest concentration of well decorated houses. There is one house a couple blocks south of Abell Jr. High that is pretty impressive.

Grassland is usually the highest concentration, almost seems like mandatory participation.

Old Midland between Neely and Golf course road can have some pretty nice displays.

There used to be a place on the west side of the Odessa cemetery on Hwy-80 east of loop 338. They had animated displays almost like glockenspiels. Haven't looks since my kids are grown. They allowed people to walk around in their yard. But again I have not been in over 10 years.

Great! Thanks. We did find Grassland and had a good time. They had horse drawn carriage rides too but they are booked up which was a bummer. Another couple of cool displays were 5600 Ashwood ct and 1609 Neely.
