Not necessarily, but only in need of a 1br. I currently live in Aviare Place and it's pretty bad. Willing to give other "older" complexes a shot, but I'm about tired of old appliances and laminate countertops.

I lived it The Meridian...it was ok and good location. We had a mice issue at one point but I have to deal with that at my house once in awhile.

Also lived at The Palms right when I got to Midland with a friend. There are some new apts going up south of Thomason by th loop. Next to a good neighborhood. Not far from my place. Also there are several small homes in my neighborhood for sale...I know some work has been done on the inside. It was cheaper for me to buy a house than rent. I also have a large dog so a yard was needed. I know great realtors and market seems to have slowed some.

Did you look into apts by claydesta?

The new ones? Forgot they were there! Happen to know the name?

I live at Waterford ranch, it's pretty nice and the staff/maintenance crew is pretty nice and attentive. It's a little expensive but with the housing getting build hopefully there will be more vacancies and prices will come down some.

I think the new apartments by ClayDesta are called Midway Station. They are looking very similar to the Aggie Station apartments on Wellborn towards Bryan if you were at A&M around 2003.

I may or may not need a place of my own soon.

Not that I don't enjoy hanging with my roommates on occasion, I just can't stand some of their habits.

$1450 for a one bedroom.

$1450? That is a lot of money. Ugg- makes me consider renting a room out in my house.

Wouldn't mind Weidner reinvesting some of their profits back into current properties. Some simple remodeling would do wonders...
