So I've been busy and finally got around to mowing today. As I mowed I noticed I was stirring up a ton of moths! I have never seen this before and I am concerned. Is this bad? How do I get rid of them? Wifey is not happy with all the moths around the house.

Not sure what the deal is, but I must have killed a dozen or more in the house just yesterday.

Mild winter = lots of surviving moth eggs that would normally freeze.

You could call an exterminator, but the best thing to do is not leave on any porch lights, don't leave doors and windows open, go in and out of doors quickly, etc. etc.

They'll all die off in about two weeks. Just have to wait it out.

Up here in the Panhandle, they've been awful. Looks like a horror movie if you leave a porch light on.

What Canyon said. We are having the same problem at my house. My 14 yr old daughter's bedroom is upstairs and they tend to congregate there every night. My son is getting a kick out of it when she starts screaming every night!
I started leaving the light on at the driveway (no other outside lights on), that seems to be helping.
