Anyone have advice or stories of their own encounters of certain apartments in Midland. Having to decide on one by this Monday seeing I will be moving there on Saturday. Thanks.

I live in the Clusters. It's pretty good. Rent has dropped 150 bucks since last year as the oil boom has dropped quite a bit.

So long as you live north of Wadley, you'll be in pretty good shape. Avoid the Palms. Ripoff city unless you like that sort of thing.

I have a friend that lives at Vantage and HATES it. According to him, they are new apartments and look nice from the outside, but the complex is horrible- overpriced, bad residents and even worse staff. He can't wait for his lease to end.

I lived at Aviare Place when I lived in Midland and really liked it. I moved there based on the review of my best friend who lived there for a summer, and she liked them too. They are right off the loop so it made it easy to get to work or anywhere else you might want to go. I never had any problems while living there, unit or staff-wise.

There were a few other complexes off the loop that I looked at, but at the time there were hardly any units available in the entire city. Of the other complexes I looked at, the Clusters and Polo Park seemed pretty good.

I live in Polo Park Apt. behind Chili's. It's reasonable rent for Midland and the staff is really good. Make sure and check them out before you make a decision.

Well I guess we will see how these next 6 months go, just signed on with Vantage. I just couldn't get over the circa 80s appliances in the apartments other then Palms and Vantage. I mean ill pay 60-80 bucks more a month to have new appliances. But you never know how things are gona go that's what led me to a 6 month lease. Ill keep ya updated.

I lived in the Fountains on Garfield across from MC. It was decent, but I wouldn't provide a recommendation for it. I had some friends who lived in Windtree and they seemed like nice apartments.

I've got a 3/2 house to rent in Midland off of Midkiff and Wadley if anybody is looking these days.
