That's EXACTLY my dad's Allsup's meal. He maintains that the chili cheese Fritos top off the burrito like nothing else. He also squirts about four packets of taco sauce onto each burrito.

I'm generally a one burrito + BBQ sandwich + Tallsup Dr. Pepper kind of guy. But I'm an equal opportunity eater when it comes to Allsup's: I'll eat the corn dogs, popcorn chicken, egg rolls, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, among other things.

It takes a special (i.e. cast iron) stomach to eat it, but has anyone else had the Mexi-burger? That's the flour tortilla folded over and around a hamburger patty, filled with cheese and jalapenos. I think my aunt could eat those every day.

2 burritos and a tallsup are best about 2 a.m. They go great after a little cold beer. But regardless of when I get them, they are a must when I go back home. We need an Allsups in College Station. That would be greatness

The T&C burrito/chimichanga is the greatest...with the taco sauce. I live in Houston now and I miss that thing. We didn't have Allsup's in Midland that I know of, so I can't speak about the Allsup's burrito. Pat Green did make it legendary, though.

Seeing an Allsups in every town gives me a sense of security and continuity. Is that weird?

had my first allsups burrito in hobbs, nm after a rodeo in lovington and it was heaven on earth paired with the famous taco sauce and a cold cerveza. BTW if you havent been to the Fair and Rodeo in Lovington, NM in august you havent experienced life. Ive rodeoed many places and that one always stands out. Also if you ever go to a softball tourney in Jal (speed trap) NM with a bunch of random girls be sure an take a spare key cuz on a sunday night in Jal NM there is not a locksmith to be found.
