Tech Alumnus' Medal of Honor to be on display at the Alumni Center
Alumni Association CEO and President Curt Langford said it's an honor to house O'Brien's medal as a symbol of his legacy of service to our country and pride in his Alma Mater.
"Many of our alumni were not aware of this, I was not aware until the story came out. And we wanted to be able to share it with the rest of our alumni because overall that's the mission of the Alumni Association. Every Red Raider has a story -- George O'Brien's is historic, it's remarkable and it's a story that needs to be told," Langford said.
I think they visit and bring back an idea a year. Last year was Ring day and ringing bells over the rings that now you don't get out of the chicken at Underwood's with a token. Just some more deaths and another two generations and they will be just like us................
