USGS reports 4.0 magnitude, centered 15 kilometers NNE of Amarillo at a depth of 5.3 kilometers. Basically just north of Amarillo, east of US 87. Maybe three miles north of Wonderland Park, and a mile East.

We heard two small booms in Canyon, then the whole house boomed and shook like a car hit it.

In BORGER, had just let the dogs out and then it happened. Thought one of the plants had blown honestly

I was driving and didn't even realize it happened until my phone started blowing up.

I didn't know it, but apparently there's a fault line pretty close to the Canadian river.

Sitting on the couch watching TV. Heard rumbling that became progressively louder. Saw my glass of water on the coffee table start to ripple. Sound was loud enough that it woke up my wife

Went though all of the possibilities...

Plane crash
Gas main or Pantex exploded
Walked outside and looked around finding nothing
Eventually settled on it being an earthquake

woke up to a rumbling sound in our wall, I blamed it on my old house and the heater turning on...went back to sleep and then saw all the posts.
