My wife and I are celebrating our 2nd anniversary on Monday and I'm trying to find a great place to eat in the Houston area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We'd like something nice, but not super expensive. Say less than $30/plate.

divino on alabama at woodhead (small, intimate place with great food, small menu)

just took my wife to cafe laurier for the anniversary... just east of greenway plaza...

Dolce Vita on Westheimer. Not too expensive, but you have to valet park. You can get an assortment of Italian tapas type of dishes along with a pizza, or order entrees (should be able to fit under $30 or so each).
Brennan's
dharma cafe, it's in the warehouse district. very small, but good food.
