It's the big episcopal church, very pretty. I was thinking about giving it a try.

never been...good looking church though.
The wife and I went there for awhile when I lived in town and we were married there (as were my parents).

The wife and I are members there. Lot's of old money. The old Rector (larry Gibson) is retiring, and the new one is going to start next week.
As for the building, it is a beautiful church, and very traditional. Reminds me of the cathedrals in England.

How many services do they have on Sunday mornings and what time?
nevermind, I looked at their webpage. Do episcopal churches kneel and say alot of prayers during service? I remember when I was a kid going to my grandparents episcopal church and we did alot of up and down kneeling.
Yep, a lot of kneeling and up and down. But I like the traditional service of the Episcopal church. Most other churches fell like I am at a lecture.
in my experience, the episcopalian mass is very similar to the catholic mass. they even say the same nicene creed.
I would probably be out of place there considering I don't know any prayers or know much about the religion.
my step dad ('61 btw) is a retired Episcopal priest. Was in Bryan from 88-05.
that's easy april. just spot the guy at the service who stands and kneels first every time and follow his lead. there's always someone who likes to show everyone else how knowledgeable they are.

we tried that one and never felt at home, very stuffy, maybe it's because we're not kabillionaires. beuatiful church though. we much prefer ascension episcopal, westheimer near beltway 8.
