My condo down on Clear Lake has a dock where I've had some luck. All you need is a decent crab net and some chicken breasts. You should be good for 5-15 an hour.
If you like your crab laden with heavy metals and benzene, their are streches of great crabbing areas on either side of the Lynchburg ferry, over by the San Jacinto Monument.
Sylvan Beach park in La Porte. It has a fishin' pier going out into the bay where you can go crabbin'.
I take the kids down there periodically. We always throw 'em back (kids would start crying otherwise!). You can also feed the seagulls there and they have a playground. Good spot to kill a Saturday afternoon with young 'uns.
Raska`Cove, all of my friends have gone and got a piece of the action. It makes the Bering Straight crabs`look like crawfish. Sugar Land Wes, where is it again?
