Going tonight and looing for the best deal to park. I get off work at 4:00 and am heading right over to the BUS for drinks beforehand, so hopefully I will beat the rush by a bit.

There is a parking lot on the east side of the Minute Maid Lofts that use to be $5. Not sure about the street name but the entrance is on the same street as The Bus. If you leave The Bus, take a right and keep going and its down on your right pass the lofts. But if you get down there that early I'm sure you might find something closer but not sure about cheaper.

After six...any meter is free. So park at a meter as you will not have to pay.

make sure you pay all the way up to six on the meters...they will give you a ticket if it runs out at 5:55pm

I only park in garages down there for games; I've been hearing stories of cars getting broken into down there during games.

there is a parking garage on the corner of Franklin and LaBranch about a block away from the field. It was 5 bucks to park there last year, but winning a league title must make everything more expensive. Its still only $10 right now for a pretty nice place to park and feel a little safer

The way they're playing right now, the best parking for an Astros game is your own driveway!

Yeah if you're there at four you'll get a great spot at a meter and just feed it up til 6pm and you should be golden.

Go to Ninfas and take the free shuttle and use the $20 to park on margaritas.

late answer, but... I usually arrive right at ~6pm and park for free on Crawford within 2 blocks of the stadium. Timing is everything: by 6:15 you are more like 6 blocks away. Arriving early and feeding the meter til 6 also sounds like a good way to go, but you have to be careful because some meters have no parking allowed between 5-6pm.

I really suggest parking at either one of the Houston Center Garages (on the corner of Rusk and LaBranch). It's $5 on game days. That's where I prefer to park when I go to MMP.

The way the Astros are playing the best parking is your living room to watch PBS.
