I don't know about Tx Children's and I don't know what your specific needs are, but one of my sons has had eye issues since he was born and Dr. Miller at Houston Eye Associates has operated on him 3 times since he was born, and I can't say enough good things about him. My son is 12 now and thriving.

Yep, I would start with Houston Eye Associates. I have seen a couple of their docs over the years for retina surgeries and they have been great.

Coming from College Station so doesnt matter too much.

Wife is a clinic nurse at the woodlands TCH. Daughter is 5 and in glasses so goes there as well. I will get a name momentarily.

Not sure if they still have it but Baylor college of Medicine had an eye center in Houston when I was a kid and I had a lot of weird eye issues. That was my go to.

TCH doctors are BCM doctors. Their actual employer and professorship is through BCM, even if they only work at TCH proper.

I think a fair number of the ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons see children on the TCH side and adults on the BCM side. I know that the doctor I see - Richard Allen, who I definitely recommend - does that.

Dr Hussein has operated on my daughter and nephew at West campus and we've had a positive experience

My kids saw him for a while as well until insurance changed. They now go to Bellaire Family eye center. No complaints there besides traffic.

Dr Hussein and Dr. Morrison out of the West Campus branch who we have used and liked both of them. No complaints.

Thought he was my doctor at well. But not.

LOL... the reason why I thought it was the same guy is because my Doc's name is/was Richard Alan Lewis.
