I'm looking to purchase a new Hyundai Palisade in the coming months. So, inquiring to see if any TexAgs members have a salesperson they have worked with or would recommend.

I think all area Hyundai dealers are Keating.

Big Star Hyundai on the Gulf Fwy is not owned by Keating unless something just changed. I don't know any sales people there .

We bought from Heath at Humble Hyundai. He'll tell you right off he's autistic. He has encyclopedic knowledge of palisades specifically.

What trim and power train did you purchase?

We bought from DeMontrond in Texas City/LaMarque. Great experience. The dealership in Webster didn't impress us.

We bought in 2022 a 2020 model with 22k on it, trim level Limited which is what they now call the Calligraphy. They changed the designations in '22. It was used so we didn't have a choice on power train.

I'll say this… buy a warranty. We've had to fully replace our engine. They warrantied it after a battle but it was indeed a battle.

I wouldn't buy another Palisade because of the experience. With that said, I don't believe this to be a widespread problem.

I think Hyundai has had some known engine problems with certain models. I think they have been addressed, but this isn't the first time I've heard that.
