Smith Thompson or SimpliSafe.

I had ST at my last house and went with SimpliSafe in our current home. I would be happy with both. SimpliSafe is all wireless and easy to install yourself. Add devices anytime.

We went fro Vivint to Simplisafe and it's been great. No technicians to deal with, and very little if any problems with it.

Home Security Systems is family owned. Use the same software that alert 360 uses. Has a monitoring service that is local so you aren't hearing from someone in a different county. The owner comes and inspects the house to provide recommendations.
We use alert 360 before this and they cut too many corners

They're based on the Alarm.com

Not sure what the operator he's talking about charges, but mine is called Surety.

I think I pay $17/month. It would be $5 more to add professional monitoring but I passed on that.

Equipment is extra.
