Training for a Rim 2 Rim hike this fall and I am looking for a place to do stairs that we can access on the weekends. Thought maybe there might be some downtown buildings open that I can get to the stairwells or maybe some taller parking garages that are open.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks & Gig'em.

Not sure if Rice stadium is open to the public, but I've heard of folks running stairs for training.

Look at highrise hotels. Stairwells are likely accessible from the lobby.
