How long do you want to ignore this user?
Before my wife's aunt passed away from cancer, she gave her a purple glass vase that my wife remembered from her childhood. It was the one thing she had from her aunt, and unfortunately it broke. I'd like to work with an artist to have the pieces turned into something. Any suggestions on where to go?

My grandma used to make stepping stones for the flower bed out of broken glass and china.

Just DIY it. Buy a concrete stepping stone from Home Depot, set the pieces on top how you want, mix some grout or concrete and spread it out between the pieces. Wipe the pieces with a wet rag before the concrete hardens then let it sit.

That is a really good idea! I would, but I also would give this to her on our 10-year anniversary so I want it to be extra special. Something where the main glass is made into a butterfly, but then other colored glass is used. I'm not artistic enough to do this (ironically my wife is).
