Wishing all of you a wonderful and safe year ahead. Can you please recommend a good OB/GYN who is excellent with hormone replacement therapy (HRT), preferably in the Cypress/NW Houston area.

The patient is a woman nearing menopause and was recommended to visit a OB/GYN to address some irregular issues related to hormones.

I see Susan Hardwick Smith at the Complete Midlife Wellness Center. She is an OB/Gyn who has converted her practice over to treating only midlife women.

I don't think she is taking new patients but she has hired two additional doctors and has several NPs who have her same philosophy.

Offices on Binz and San Felipe.

Regardless of who you choose, be cautious. I have a friend who recently went to the dentist and was offered HRT. It's crazy how many people have jumped on this bandwagon, and the threshold is low for being able to prescribe these drugs.

I also highly recommend a book called Estrogen Matters. Even with a good practitioner, it's important to educate yourself on this topic from reliable sources.

As post #3 indicates, the first was a picture of what looked to be a dead hooker. I'm assuming taken from the same weird amateur site.

This questions begins and ends with Dr. Hardwick Smith IMO.
Her practice is concierge but is tops in the business after leading the OBGYN practices at HCA for many years.
She's considering a new Cypress location as we speak.
