Best I can tell show starts at 6PM but this is likely Alice in chains. Any guess to what time GnR go on? Maybe 8? Looks like shows have been running 2-3 hours.

I was thinking/hoping that 6 pm was just the time the gates open and Alice In Chains wouldn't start playing until at least 7. We are coming from South Dallas (aka The Woodlands) and I really wanted to have time to grab a bite to eat before heading inside the park.

Considering going for AIC and then bailing.

I've got a black tie gala thursday and pit seats. If i can swing it, i'll be the guy down low in a tux.

Sounds like it's varied a little at other shows depending on the opener since they have had a few different ones.

I'm hoping 8:00 or after since we will be pushing to get there by then. Unfortunately missing Alice In Chains but oh well.

I saw GNR last time they were in Houston something like 5-6 years ago. They were promptly on time and played their asses off it was a great show. Is Axl old and fat? Yes but aren't we all. Gone are his days of showing up late.

Minute Maid should not be allowed to host concerts. Terrible sound. I knew it would be bad but didn't expect it to make the old dome sound like a concert hall.

I'm not sure you really want to hear the current GnR vocals in an acoustically friendly location.
