I'm looking for a WeWork type space in West Houston (10/Beltway area). Need it for 5-7 people. Short term at first <6 months. Furniture included.

All the places I've contacted (Lifetime in City Centre, some others along I10), don't have anything this size. It's all single office.

Anyone know of anything? Or know anyone looking for sublease?

The Cannon would be my call. Know several people/companies that office there.

FYI when browsing coworking dedicated offices, a 5-7 person office will have small desks crammed in with no privacy. I've looked into this for my team and I'd probably go with a 3 person office for just me and then get a few shared space passes for the folks that come in occasionally. WeWork DT has one person offices and they're smaller than normal cubes.

No way multiple people could take calls at the same time in those offices with distraction.

I am in the SPACES office in City Centre. It is pretty nice. PM me if you want to know more about it.

Get in there before 0700 and there's about an 80% hit rate that you'll be first of the morning and the toilet water will still be blue.

Speaking of WeWork- how on earth did they manage to bamboozle so many investors and the Street? I mean, their concept was nothing different than what Regus, etc. have been doing for probably 40 years.

there's a few pretty entertaining TV series and books all about that subject.

OP, not sure we are going to be in the exact spot you want to be but we aren't far away with our 2nd location coming to Richmond at 723 and Fulshear Gaston. We are opening in May of 2024 tentatively.

Connected to the Honeywell building at Beltway and Westheimer is Industrious. They have office spaces with furniture.

We looked at the Cannon and it was cool, but for our crowd, it wouldn't have been a good fit.

We have an app and you book and sign the whole thing online...so we're a tech company not a commercial real estate/property management company. See, see, see....it says it right here!

And someone influential bought that line of crap and gave them a tech company multiplier instead of a property manager multiplier.

Finding small office space is still tricky. Subleasing from someone who realized they rented too much space seems to be the best bet for a small group, or decent sized personal office.

There is the open communal area w/ shared tables, couches, pool table, kitchen, free coffee/cold brew/combucha as well as a quieter side w/ 4 person tables, private phone booths, clean bathrooms, and then the private offices & conference rooms that you can rent out. You'll see folks meeting with clients as in the community spaces but I'm not sure of the business as they're usually talking in a different language.

And a 20+ floor view of downtown or river oaks.

I can see why they're filing for bankruptcy as I got 1-2 times per month and have never paid.

I know of a small office space in the Heights up for lease if anyone knows someone interested.
