New article on the Lovers Lane murders from 1990, which happened around Enclave Parkway. 1990 was a year with one of the highest murder tolls in Houston's history at over 600. I was in high school with this young woman and she was the head cheerleader. They have the killer's DNA and matched it with the perp who raped a stripper a few months prior. Despite the DNA, still no matches.

I was 10 years at the time, and we lived in an older neighborhood just west of Eldridge and Enclave before all the land was developed. We used to ride our bikes around that area and got shut down for a while after those murders. Being 10 we weren't told the reason but found out years later about it and it's unsettling how grisly they were and being unsolved.

if they have his DNA...and the killer is of European descent...

the authorities should be able to identify him thru the familial DNA process

there are so many cold cases out there and not as many experts in the familial method
