Can anyone tell me a fantastic restaurant ideally on the College Station side of Houston? I have a big deal closing soon and want to come celebrate at an amazing restaurant. Think The Republic in College Station but even nicer. Also doesn't have to be a steakhouse. Something like $200-250pp with a couple cocktails would be perfect. Thanks in advance for any help!

Your shortest drive for high end will probably be the Woodlands. Mastros, Trulucks, Tris, Mortons...

Rainbow Lodge is near 290 and 610.
I've never posted on this specific forum before, so it seems like there is a learning curve I may have missed.
My apologies for the note about College Station side of Houston. That was clearly a distraction. But I can't tell if any of the suggestions are serious. I literally googled Steak and Ale for a menu--lol and then found a strip club someone suggested.
Assuming no geographical constraints, what are the most amazing restaurants in Houston that would be even better than the Republic in College Station (which is my best comparison)? Doesn't have to be a steakhouse but can be.

More centrally located, but the private room BCN would be my choice for that occasion. Other contenders would be B&B Butchers, Navy Blue, or Potente.

I'm honestly just shocked nobody has said my backyard.
To narrow it down for you, serious response, Pappa Bros Steakhouse or Bludorn.
Bucee's off 290, but more upscale (and across the highway): Waller Co. Line.
Bombshell's or TGIF
Rainbow Lodge is a serious response - good, unique experience. Check it out.
