Any recommendations for a place for the groom and groomsmen to go get wedding day haircuts/beard trims/shaves around Kemah? Wedding's in Kemah, Airbnb is San Leon. We should have time enough to kill to drive anywhere around there if it's worth it.

On ~2 weeks notice; no. I'd run through the closest Boardroom's webpage and see which "stylists" aren't working on the day of the wedding and see if they want a cash side gig.

I was at Doug's a few years ago when a group came in wanting razor shaves for the groom and all the groomsmen. First time I'd seen or heard of that tradition. Of course, there was no way the one guy who did full shaves could serve them all, so I'd encourage the OP to call around and make sure a place has the capacity to handle the group. Definitely don't just show up.

I've been going to Lus barber shop for years. Don't think I have had a bad cut but I recommend booking in advance. They do hot shaves.

Any jackass can cut a mullet but to give a Kentucky Waterfall flow takes talent.
