Is there such a thing?

We have quite a bit of "exotic" lumber stored just north of Livingston that we want to sell for my father. It is his collection from Brazil, Mexico, etc and he's up there in age now and is no longer into his woodworking projects.

Looking for suggestions on who may be a good company/person to contact that can evaluate his collection? Any ideas?

What is the hardness level? How long is it? Has it been cut milled or is it uncut unmilled?

Is it tagged with species? If so via widthlengthxthickness you can figure out board feet and then look up prices to determine value.

If you don't know the species then it becomes much more difficult.
