When they say they are destroying the guns….someone is selling them to an arms dealer who will in turn arm a little army in the Congo. Elected officials get a little cut of the profit from that sale.

And I guarantee, shadier things like this has been done.

They specifically excluded "ghost guns"
So if you showed up with a 3D printed gun or something cobbled together from Lowes at best you'd get turned back. AT worst you might be at their word on "no questions asked' since you didn't actually sell the gun. Think they'd have a jack booted brown shirt arrest you for manufacturing without a license?

Ghost guns were profitable at the first buyback. My son and his buddies that all 3D print stuff were laughing their butts off at that kid who took a box of them up there.

I wonder if they plan to check to see how many of them were stolen from people too dumb not to leave guns in the cars/trucks overnight? Nice easy way for the kids stealing guns from trucks if they can turn them in for $200 instead of risking trying to sell a stolen gun at a pawn shop.
