Coming down this year for our semi-annual Aggie home game trip (go to away games the other years). Doing the Eagles-Texans for my Philadelphia family (not me!) on Thursday night then heading out to see the Ags play the Gators on Saturday. When I have done this in the past I have always rented a car, but the ride home is exhausting. Is there any type of GameDay shuttle available from Houston? I've always been given great info on this board so thanks in advance. Thanks for the snark as well in advance.....

there's an underground ultra-high speed train directly from the Bass ProShop store in Katy Mills (secret entrance through one of the aquariums) directly to the 9th story of the Kyle field Hotel.

I'd be possibly in for 2 spots if someone wants to arrange this & split it.

Just emailed Vonlane out of general curiosity. Would likely only be looking at doing a charter for the SHSU, App. St., and UMass games as my friends and I have hotels and we will have our full tailgate rig at the other games.

This was what I put for the inquiry:
Pick-up - Total Wine at I10/Studemont
Times - Arrive ~3hrs prior to kickoff and depart 1.5hrs after game ends

You could try this group. I used them a few times several years back. They had the most reasonable pricing and the sprinter van size was easier to fill up than a larger charter bus.

Seems like a good opportunity that Vonlane is missing out on. I imagine they could probably fill two buses out of Houston alone. Then they've still got DFW and Austin markets to service too. Not like they have the typical traffic on a Saturday, so why not do some market testing on it.

I'm surprised Woodlands Express doesn't run a bus back and forth. Their busses just sit there on the weekends.

JSX is doing "bespoke" flights to Aggie games from Love Field. They're doing them for both home and away games. Curious if they actually fill them up as it's $599 for home games and $900 for MSU, $1300 for Bama, and $1200 for Auburn.

Either way Dallas is doing freakin' jets to Aggie games and Houston can't even find a sober enough CDL driver to run Highway 6 in a "bespoke" bus both ways on game days.

Houston Ags need to step it up.

Kind of surprising they're not doing away games with a departure from Houston.

I actually spoke to Vonlane. Bus fits 22. Satellite TV. No Streaming but internet. 1st class attendant. They sell some beer, wine and drinks. Large rest room and galley area. $6,400. Don't sell individually so you would have to book the charter and fill it up yourself. Which I could never do as an out of towner, but if anyone does take on the task I have 3 who would pay 300 each though they should be giving away the booze for that price.
