Title says it all? I've tried the google machine but it keeps bringing up stuff over by the Galleria.

They've got the right lane shut down and people are not handling it well in the evenings.

maybe because you aren't specific enough. There are a lot of bridges on 610 on the east side.

Specifically, the ship channel bridge. Right lane. Heading north.

I don't know what it looks like on the topside of the bridge/road (I usually get to the port from the North side - haven't actually been over the bridge in a while) but they've been doing construction on the underside of the bridge for months. Had some small chunks fall off the bridge onto some cargo at one point. never parked under/near the bridge again.

Is that the one where they built half of it and spent hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars before they realized there was a problem and had to stop construction to assess alternatives?

They're laying it with explosives so that when the Russians visit, we can blow it up, cause a tidal wave, and ride the Battleship Texas on that tidal wave to kill them all!

Nope, that's the BW8 bridge.

The closing is needed as part of a $4.8 million project to rehab the Sidney Sherman Bridge, the Loop 610 span across the Houston Ship Channel, just north of the connection to Texas 225.
