Is there parking available still at the terminal for domestic United flights? Luckily I haven't been there in a couple years. Heard there is a construction cluster f ongoing but didn't get details.

Yes. There's a link where you can can prepay. Normally it's $24/day but $16 if you prepay.

Park in terminal A and B garage. Park on the B side as the United terminal is either B or C.

The parking garage for terminal C is closed. If you are flying out of C, take the tram below prior to check in, or the terminal connector above after checking in.

Whatever you do, park in B.

So if the flight is out of c and you park at b, would you check bags at b or take on the tram to c and check there?
Thanks

Thanks. Never knew that. Is the link printed on the parking ticket or on the airport system online?

Something I did once that saved some time up front (I was running really late) was to just quickly use the first garage entrance I saw, took a quick mental snapshot of where I was parked, went in, and spent like 2 hours looking for my truck the next Sunday night because every part of every garage there looks exactly the same. Good luck!

I am pretty sure can check them at B. United is United. Ask one of the associates there before you go through the line.

Use the online system to book/pay:

https://iah.booking.fly2houston.com/

Email confirmation will contain a QR code to scan once you drive up.

Park at B. Checkin at B. Take train wherever you want after security.

You have to pay something like a day in advance. Follow the link helpfully posted by someone else above.

Best bet is to park at Parking Spot and ride the shuttle to whatever terminal you're leaving from. $10 a day before discounts, and you don't have to try and navigate construction and play terminal roulette.

This is the correct answer. Hit the Parking Spot and take the shuttle

I used to park at paring spot for years. They seriously started sucking on their van turnaround and I would be stuck waiting routinely 30 mins and sometimes over an hour for a van to pick me up at the terminal. I now exclusively use Uber and I'm sitting on my doorstep faster than a van would arrive.

Be aware that on a heavy travel day, the United check-in line in terminal B can get very long. Last Friday morning, it was snaking through the entire lobby of terminal B. I'm not sure what it looked like at terminal C, but you can take the subway over to terminal C before needing to pass through security.

In normal times I'd agree but construction at IAH can delay the bus for over 30 to 50 minutes. It's a nightmare. I'd fly out of hobby or park directly at the terminal.

I used to do parking spot until I discovered onairparking. They match you with the cheapest parking place available. Ive used it 3 times recently and parking has always been $3-4/day.

Only difference checking in with bags at one it the other is the underground Disney tram vs the above ground one.

I think uniteds favorite pastime is changing your terminal without notice.

Some of the hotels nearby will let you park for $5/day and have a free shuttle. Can't remember the one we use of the top of my head but it's gated and haven't ever had any issues

They would make me nervous about the condition my car would be in when I come back.

I use FastPark.

Little known option is to valet at the Marriott by A/B. I've negotiated parking for less than the garage rates. Hop on train to whatever terminal you need.

I miss that old place that let you check your bags for Continental flights at their lot. Can't remember what it was called but it's where the Parking Spot on JFK is now
