Found this on the nets today; apparently Third Plant comic books is suing Crowne Plaza for damages.

Read their petition; for those that don't speak the lawyer lingo, they have provided a handy comic book format of their complaint.

That was definitely one of the more interesting complaints I have ever read.

I'm picturing Jeff Bridges to play the part of comic book guy in the film adaptation.

There are decent crown plazas elsewhere, hwy is this one so janky? I'd figure they wouldn't want their name attached to such a trashy establishment.

That Petition is awesome and I am rooting for him. I think I'll take my kids to the store, too. *They* will get a kick out of it.

I wonder what instigated the rain of fire extinguishers?

As a kid in the 70's I used to go to Third Planet in their original location a lot. I hope they prevail.

Looking at the hotel, it seems like a simple fix to close off the open ends of the corridors with some kind of metal grates (might not stop cigarette butts but would stop larger objects from being thrown out).
