Marvin Zindler has to be on the end so that there can be a corresponding carving on the hill next to him of Dave Ward looking at Marvin with that head-shaking look of disdain he always had at the end of Zindler's "performance".

Bum didn't win the big one. Dude was great and a great representative of this city, but you gotta win the big one.

Earl Campbell doesn't quite qualify for me. He is too tied to other places. He is known as the Tyler Rose and is deeply tied to tu. His time here was pretty short.

Carl Lewis and George Foreman need consideration.

Earl Campbell can't walk today because of his time as an Oiler. If the Oilers had not left in the 90s Earl would have a much bigger presence in Houston today.

That's all due to Bud Adams and not Earl Campbell.
