How long do you want to ignore this user?
Anyone stayed at Cinnamon Shore in Port A in the past few weeks? Supposed to be there a week from Friday and wondering what recent experiences have been like.

They sent me a summary of their COVID / social distancing protocols, but looking for any first hand reports. It seems the rentals will be fully booked. How crowded was it in the community, the beach and pools? Did they seem to have their sh*t together with the protocols? Guests / locals following rules?

Anyone think there is a chance they get shut down between now and end of next week? I believe they were shut down for a time, but reopened near the end of April.

Drove by on a golf cart this past weekend. The beach was absolutely slammed with people and I didn't see a whole lot of emphasis on social distancing. Lots of Trump flags.

Yes we stayed there last week for 7 days.

For as crowded as it was on property, we had no issues at all at the pools during the day - plenty of room to spread out away from others, particulalrly the big pool.

The beaches were on a no-vehicle access & curfew til after the 4th holiday and when they opened tuesday back to cars/carts, it was busy AF on the beach. Still once you go to the left of the CS set-up chairs, we had no problem finding a spaced out area for our whole crew. Down towards the access road points by the golf course and closer to town, there are lots of heehaws & hoolihoos with their Trump flags literally parking butts to nuts and not really giving a sh*t about spacing.

CS as a whole was full with lots of golf carts etc, but i was impressed with how everyone behaved. We were able to walk around, go fishing, pool etc all without hassle.

Weekday mornings about 10am South of CS pretty wide open

Midafternoon the neighbors start moving in

Weekends are absolutely assjammed - we did not beach until the weekend crowd bailed

I was there 4th of July weekend and it was packed. The main bar pool was jam packed with people. The larger pool not so much. We just went to the beach where it was easy to keep your distance (also no vehicles/golf carts allowed at the time, which helped). Took the kids to the live music deals at night and those were pretty crowded too but easy enough to keep your distance from others. No one wore masks outside that I saw. Amazingly to me, there was almost 100% mask compliance at Stripes the few times I went.

Good info so far, thanks. CS confirmed vehicle/cart beach access is allowed again (as of today). I expect we'll stick to the beach and try to avoid the pools unless the big one has plenty of room.

Hopefully if I get down to the beach nice and early to set up I can stake out a decent spot and not have people try to squeeze in around me.

We had a big group so went down at 6am every morning to set up our large spot on the beach. It was totally unnecessary to do it that early (at least when we were there) but it gave us plenty of space.

Nueces County beaches and Corpus Christi beaches and parks will most likely be closed until further notice starting today, July 15, to help prevent the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.

Thanks for the heads up. I was starting to figure this would happen. Wonder if I have any chance of getting any money back.

Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, July 16, Port Aransas beaches will be closed to vehicular access until Aug. 1 a period stretching for more than two weeks, according to city and county officials.

Beachgoers will be allowed to walk to the beach, just as they could when the beaches were closed to vehicular access during the July 4 holiday weekend, Bujan said.

A beach curfew also will go into effect, county-wide, beginning tomorrow. The curfew will be for all activities from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. each day until Aug. 1.
